Garvey Glass & Glazing is a long-established supplier and installer of a range of products including windows & doors, security & safety glass and decorative glass. Stephen Stewart, Director has been a customer of Diamond Glass for a number of years. A recent project involved the manufacture and installation of Fire Rated Glazing for Lagan College, Belfast.
As there had been some structural changes to the building, functional internal fire rated glass screens were needed. Stephen says “It wasn’t a rush rush job but obviously everything needs to be delivered according to the builders requirements. Diamond Glass gave a very competitive quote so the fact that the quality of the glass is so high and the service is great means that the overall package they offer is excellent.”
Top Quality Fire Rated Glazing
Stephen believes the quality of Pilkington Fire Rated Glazing is hard to beat: “For the Lagan College project we needed fire rated glass that was proven to perform in fire conditions and the name Pilkington gives you that re-assurance. We’ve installed Pilkington Glass on different projects for years and we’ve always been satisfied.”
In this instance the glass was installed to act as a physical barrier in the event of fire. Diamond Glass was selected by Pilkington as one of its exclusive key partners to produce and supply fire-rated glazing, in recognition of the company’s commitment to excellence in the manufacturing process and it’s high standard of customer care.
Once work began on the project Stephen found the technical support and customer service offered by Diamond Glass was extremely helpful “The rep. we dealt with on the ground was very knowledgeable and he’s a nice guy – the service was great.”
Garvey Glass & Glazing expects the demand for glazing products to grow “We look forward to continuing to work with a Diamond Glass because we know we can depend on the product and service and the price is right too – it’s a win-win.”
